Access EV charging grants & incentives in the UK
Offering EV charging shouldn’t break the bank. Setting up charging infrastructure to serve your organisation’s current and future needs can be a complex and expensive endeavour. Luckily, there are many government grants and incentives that can lighten the burden of your upfront expense:
- Companies get vouchers that pay for buying and installing charging stations upfront.
- Starting from April 2020, 75% of the money spent on buying and installing charging stations is reimbursed (up to £350 per station for up to 40 stations at all places, or up to £500 per station for up to 20 stations at all spots).
- In Scotland, companies can get money from the Energy Saving Trust to help them buy and set up EV chargers at their workplaces.
