NJBPU Multi-Unit Dwelling EV Charging Station Grants
PSE&G Electric Vehicle Charging Program
Level 2 mixed-use commercial charging projects are eligible for the following:
- Up to $30,000 toward behind-the-meter installation of commercial Level 2 AC charging stations
- Up to $10,000 for pole-to-meter utility service upgrades (if needed)
Public DC fast charging projects are eligible for the following:
- Up to $100,000 per site for behind-the-meter installation costs of DC fast charging stations
- Up to $50,000 of pole-to-meter utility service upgrades (if needed) Demand charge rebates to help lower your electricity bill
Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) EV Driven Program
JCP&L’s EV Driven Program is making electric vehicle adoption more accessible, convenient and affordable in New Jersey through incentives for charger installations at homes, workplaces, multifamily properties and communities. Receive incentives on the purchase and installation of a qualified EV charging station and earn additional credits for smart charging.
Level 2 funding is available based on the following criteria:
- Public or community-based projects can redeem 100% of make-ready costs up to $6,700 per port (minimum of two and maximum of 10 per site).
- Publicly accessible workplace projects can redeem 100% of make-ready costs up to $5,000 per port (minimum of two and maximum of 10 per site).
- Multifamily housing projects can redeem 100% of make-ready costs up to $6,700 per port (minimum of two and maximum of 10 per site).
- Multifamily housing projects located in an overburdened community can redeem 100% of make-ready costs up to $8,375 per port (minimum of two and maximum of 10 per site).
DC fast charging funding is available based on the following criteria:
- Public or community-based projects can redeem up to $50,500 per qualifying installation site, covering 100% of the cost for make-ready work up to $25,000 per port for installation of qualified DCFC chargers for public use (minimum of two and a maximum of four charging ports per site).
Atlantic City Electric (ACE) Incentive Programs
- Multifamily (disadvantaged communities): Up to 100% or $6700/port (maximum 10 ports/site)
- Multifamily: Up to 75% or $5k/port (maximum 10 ports/site)
- Public DC fast: Up to 90% or $60k/port (maximum two ports/site)
- Public Level 2 AC: Up to 50% or $4500/port (maximum two ports/site)
- Workplace: Up to 50% or $4500/port (maximum 10 ports/site)
- Fleet: Up to 50% or $2500/port (maximum 10 ports/site)
The Orange & Rockland Commercial Charger Ready Program
- Level 2 AC charging ports may qualify for $4,400 per port of utility-side costs and $9,200 per port of customer-side costs
- DC fast charging stations may qualify for $2,000 per port of utility-side costs and $81,000 per port for customer-side costs
